Goals

Today we’ll talk about what goals you have for the duration of this course. Keep in mind what we talked about yesterday regarding mindset.

What would life look like for you as “the kind of person that doesn’t look at porn” or “the kind of person that doesn’t masturbate?”

What activities would fill your life?

What are you willing to do now in order to get there?

What – Be specific about what you want to accomplish. If it’s reducing porn or masturbation, then create stepping stones for yourself.

When – When will you do the activities that will help you get to where you want to be? When in the day will you do your lessons? What time will you reach out to your AP? If you want to start exercising, then what days, at what time?

Why – We had a whole lesson on this in the first week, but it’s important enough to cover once more. Why are you doing all of this? Reflect on that again and again, until it burns inside of you and compels you to take action on it.

How – What tools are you going to use? What structure are you going to put in place to support yourself and keep yourself accountable?

Who – Who will you share all this with? (here’s a hint – their initials are AP!) The more people you share with what you’re up to the better your chances are of success.
